Scattered was created to showcase new and promising theatrical works in the mid-development stage: three pieces at a time are rehearsed and staged in front of a live audience in a one-week festival of workshops/readings at various venues around New York City. Studio 42 has presented three Scattered festivals of new plays between 2004 and 2008.
